Place for your dream holiday: Rent a cabin in Ödevata
Rent your own cabin for a relaxing holiday with the lake at your doorstep, a large backyard and beautifully decorated cabins. We have three cabins for you to choose from – “Sjövillan” (9 beds), “Sjöstugorna” (5 + 4 beds) and “Nilssons” (6 beds). The demand is great for our wonderful cabins, so therefore during high season (July, August and during Christmas / New Year), we only accept bookings for at least 14 days. During the pre- and post- high season, it is minimum 7 nights. However, we can rent out the cabins for a shorter time if they are available. In addition, bookings are usually made well in advance, never hesitate to send us your questions.

Sjövillan – Spacious and Scenic Accommodation by Lake Ödevaten
Welcome to Sjövillan, the perfect accommodation for two families or a large group of friends seeking a relaxing stay in a stunning natural setting. This spacious 240 m² villa is divided into two floors, with an apartment on each floor, offering both communal areas and privacy.
With a large plot extending to the lakeshore with a private swimming area and boat dock, Sjövillan is the ideal place to unwind, socialize, and create unforgettable memories.
What the villa offers:
- Generous common areas: Enjoy meals in the spacious dining room with a fireplace and panoramic lake views, or gather outside on the large terrace, balcony, or garden to have a feast.
- Practical layout:
- Ground floor: Fully equipped kitchen, large dining area with a fireplace and lake views, three bedrooms, two toilets, and one shower.
- Upper floor: Kitchen with dining area, bathroom with toilet and shower, two bedrooms, and a living room.
- Wood-fired hot tub and sauna: Relax in the wood-fired hot tub, and enjoy access to a lakeside wood-fired sauna.
- Leisure equipment: The rental includes a boat with an electric motor, a canoe, two bicycles, and life jackets, as well as firewood for the hot tub, sauna, and campfire.
- Pet-friendly: Bring your pet along and let them enjoy this nature-filled paradise too.

This charming villa has everything you need for an unforgettable stay – including a private rowboat with an electric motor and a floating wood-fired sauna, offering a unique and relaxing experience directly on the water.
The villa accommodates up to 6 people, making it perfect for families or friends who want to enjoy nature in a modern and comfortable setting.

Nilssons – Newly Renovated Holiday Home with Lake Views, Sauna, and Hot Tub
Welcome to Nilssons, a charming and newly renovated holiday home on a secluded hill with breathtaking views of the lake. Featuring a private terrace, a wood-fired sauna, a hot tub, and access to a rowboat with an electric motor, this accommodation is perfect for a relaxing and memorable stay. The house accommodates up to 6 guests and is ideal for families and groups looking for calmness in a beautiful setting.
What the house offers:
- Spacious layout: Three lovingly renovated bedrooms, each with two single beds (90 x 200 cm) that can be combined into a double bed or used separately for maximum flexibility.
- 2 bathrooms: One with a shower, toilet, sink, and washing machine; and a smaller bathroom with a toilet and sink.
- Well-equipped kitchen: Including a dishwasher, stove, oven, coffee maker, and everything you need for cooking.
- Living room with TV: Relax with Swedish and German TV channels.
Outdoor area:
On the terrace, about 200 meters from the lake, you can enjoy BBQ evenings and relax. The wood-fired hot tub and sauna provide the perfect setting for cozy evenings, especially during the colder months. Guests also have access to a dock and a Linder 440 aluminum boat with an electric motor, about 200 meters from the house at deeper waters—ideal for fishing and lake excursions.

- Pet-friendly accommodation: The property is fenced with a 90 cm high fence, and dogs are welcome for an additional fee.

Changeover day – Saturday. During high season (July, August and during Christmas) we only accept bookings for at least 2 weeks. Pre- and post-season months (April, May, June, September and October) for at least 7 days, Saturday – Saturday. During the low season periods (January 6 – March 31 and November 1 – December 19) bookings can be made for two nights or more if the cabins are not booked weekly.
