Place for your dream holiday: Rent a cabin in Ödevata
Rent your own cabin for a relaxing holiday with the lake at your doorstep, a large backyard and beautifully decorated cabins. We have three cabins for you to choose from – “Sjövillan” (9 beds), “Sjöstugorna” (5 + 4 beds) and “Nilssons” (6 beds). The demand is great for our wonderful cabins, so therefore during high season (July, August and during Christmas / New Year), we only accept bookings for at least 14 days. During the pre- and post- high season, it is minimum 7 nights. However, we can rent out the cabins for a shorter time if they are available. In addition, bookings are usually made well in advance, never hesitate to send us your questions.

Sjövillan
Sjövillan is the perfect cabin for two families or a large group of friends. At a spacious 240 m², Sjövillan is divided into two studio apartments, one on each floor. The garden runs along the lake shore with its own bathing and boat dock. The cabin has comfortable and beautiful living areas. Indoors you can gather in the large dining room with a fireplace and lake view. Outdoors you can relax in the vast garden, terrace and balcony.
On the ground floor, you will find the larger kitchen, the dining area with a fireplace, and a lake view through the large panoramic windows. There are also three bedrooms, two toilets and a shower.
On the second floor, there is a smaller kitchen with dining area, and a living room. There are also two bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet and shower.
The price includes a rowing boat with an electric motor in lake Ödevaten, life jackets, 1 canoe and 2 bicycles. You will also find the wood burning hot tub in the garden. You will have access to nearby sauna, and you can get firewood for the hot tub or for barbecue. Washing machine in the cabin for a perfect stay. Dogs and pets are also welcomed!

Before the summer season 2017, our cozy Sjöstuga got a twin! On a huge 10,000m² private land, there are now 2 cabins next to each other, so up to 9 people can stay in these nice cabins with lake view. The cabins can not be rented separately, but only as a joint unit for larger groups or families traveling together. Dogs and pets are also welcome at an additional cost.
The concept is similar to Sjövillan. Two kitchens, two living rooms, 3 bathrooms, 4 double rooms, a single room and a sauna. Instead of everything being under one roof, this is distributed over 2 directly adjacent cabins.
The original cabin of 90m² has 3 bedrooms for up to 5 people. Down by the lake there is an extra small house with a fireplace, sun loungers and a fantastic view of the lake. Next to it is your dock and sauna.
The new cabin is slightly smaller and can accommodate up to 4 people. Here we installed large glass doors with a terrace facing the lake. On that side of the cabin you can enjoy the evening sun.
Both cabins are equipped with dishwashers and washing machines. A barbecue grill, 2 bicycles, a boat with electric motor in lake Ödevaten for fishing adventures and life jackets are included in the price.

Nilsson
The newly renovated holiday cabin Nilsson with lake view, sauna, hot tub, rowing boat, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for up to 6 people is now open! The cabin area is fenced off with a 90cm high fence – dogs / pets are welcome here, but cost an additional SEK 500 per dog / pet per week. Overall, the cabin is isolated on its own little hill – surrounded by trees and shrubs. The nearest neighbor is 65 meters away, but it is also only us, Malin & Magnus, your hosts if something should happen.
NOTE! WIFI internet can be booked as an optional extra, or you can take care of yourself with your mobile internet.
The cabin’s kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, stove, oven, filter coffee maker and everything else you need. Relax in the comfortable living room and watch TV with Swedish and German channels.
The 3 lovely renovated bedrooms each have 2 single beds (2.0 x 0.9 m) which can either be pushed together as a double bed, or used as 2 single beds, you have full flexibility.
2 bathrooms; one with shower, sink, washing machine and toilet; the other with only sink and toilet. Outside, next to the cabin, the terrace overlooks the lake (which is about 100 meters away), the charcoal grill, the wood burning sauna and the hot tub. This is also a great place to go on holiday during the colder season, or in winter – when you can take advantage of the hot tub and sauna.
As the water level at the dock fluctuates slightly, the dock and the Linder 440 fishing aluminum boat are about 200 meters in deeper water. The Linder aluminum boat, an electric motor with battery and charger, as well as the sauna, hot tub, 200 kWh of electricity, and water are already included in the price. You either do the final cleaning yourself very carefully, or book the service in advance at extra cost.

Changeover day – Saturday. During high season (July, August and during Christmas) we only accept bookings for at least 2 weeks. Pre- and post-season months (April, May, June, September and October) for at least 7 days, Saturday – Saturday. During the low season periods (January 6 – March 31 and November 1 – December 19) bookings can be made for two nights or more if the cabins are not booked weekly.
